Florida’s Largest Land Auction of the Year

Land near the only commercial international airport planned since 9-11, the Panama City International Airport, Tallahassee and Ocala will be up for bid in South Florida. Some will sell at rock bottom prices, no matter what the bid. Brokers and real estate agents are welcome to participate and will be compensated, following requirements and advanced registration.

(PRWEB) October 31, 2006 -- Not one South Florida piece of land will be auctioned off and yet one of the largest land and lot auctions of it’s kind is ironically being held in South Florida. The auction is being held 9am Saturday November 11th 2006 at the Amara Shrine Center located at 3650 RCA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens, Fl 33410.

It represents another shift in a fast changing real estate market. Auctioneer Chip Haywood (www.haywoodrealtyauction.com) explains that these days the buyer dictates not just price, but where and when they want to buy property. “We are basically delivering unique pieces of land from across the state in markets that are just emerging, and we are bringing it to the investor’s backyard for their picking and choosing,” he explains. “Prior to summer, almost every auction has been dealing with single family homes and condos, but I feel this market has shifted recently. The pre-event phone calls from buyers prove that too.

"CNN Money Magazine predicted Panama City to be the hottest real estate market in the country going into 2007 and Ocala has done the best at holding it’s value our of any Florida market this year. This presents a pretty good buying opportunity and I’ve choice picked properties that are in Florida markets that have withstood the housing slump.”

Land and acreage from surrounding the newly approved Panama City International Airport to mobile home lots near Ocala will be up for bid. Acreage from 1 acre to 700 acres fronting interstates and single family lots from all over the state will be up for bid. Some will be absolute sales, meaning they will be sold no matter how high or low the final bidding price shall be.

An auditorium to seat 500 will house the auction and based on pre-event phone calls, attendance is expected to be large. People are flying in and may get directions by calling the number below. Brokerage participation is welcome, pre-registration of clients is required, and you can find out more by going to www.haywoodrealtyauction.com.
