The Bernards Inn, a AAA 4-Diamond-rated landmark inn and restaurant will offer guests two exquisite Thanksgiving dining options on Thursday, November 23, 2006. Guests can indulge in a lavish buffet featuring traditional Thanksgiving fare along with contemporary American dishes, or opt for a three course prix-fixe menu in one of the Inn's two grand dining rooms.

The traditional Thanksgiving buffet will offer a variety of tasting stations that will include fresh salads and fruits, chilled seafood, a pasta station, a variety of hot entrees, a holiday carving station featuring whole roasted turkey and glazed country ham. It will be difficult, but Executive Chef Corey Heyer cautions that buffet guests should leave room for an irresistible dessert station complete with traditional holiday pies, and an ice cream sundae bar.

For those who prefer the time-honored tradition of a sit-down dinner, Chef Heyer has planned a sumptuous menu sure to delight everyone. The Inn's three course prix-fixe menu will offer a selection of appetizers, followed by a choice of entrees which will include traditional roasted turkey, along with chef creations featuring beef, seafood, lamb, and vegetarian selections. The menu is complete with a variety of delectable seasonal desserts.

"We are delighted to once again host Thanksgiving dinner at The Bernards Inn," said Harold Imperatore, General Manager of the Bernards Inn. "The holiday menu Executive Heyer, has prepared blends the traditional Thanksgiving fare with all the trimmings that we know and love, along with unique seasonal and contemporary American dishes that are sure to excite and please our guests."

Two seating are offered for the buffet: 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Reservations are required. The buffet is priced at $55 for adults, $30 for children aged 12 through 6, and $15 for children 5 to 2 years-old. Seating for children under age 2 is complimentary. Prices do not include beverages, gratuity, or sales tax.

Seating for the prix-fixe menu in the Dining Room will begin at 12:30 p.m. Reservations are required, and all tables are scheduled for two-hour seatings. The cost is $70 for adults and $35 for children under 12. Prices do not include beverages, gratuity, or sales tax. Jackets are suggested (but not required) for gentlemen for the prix-fixe dining.

A credit card number is required to hold your reservation for either Thanksgiving dinner option.
