Best of PIMA Marketing Methods Award 2006 Earned by IdeaStar

IdeaStar Inc. recently received the prestigious Best of PIMA Marketing Methods Award for the development of the CommunityCareRx Web site. The company designed and developed the Medicare Part D enrollment Web site for MemberHealth Inc.

(http://www.ideastar.com) recently received the prestigious Best of PIMA Marketing Methods Award for the development of the CommunityCareRx Web site. The company designed and developed the Medicare Part D enrollment Web site for MemberHealth Inc.

Mike Wise, IdeaStar vice president of Insurance Technologies (http://www.insurance-technologies.com) accepted the award during the 2006 Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA) MarkeTTech Symposium, Oct. 1 through 3 in Chicago. "I was pleased when we learned we earned a Gold award in the E-commerce Web Site category. Being awarded the top honor from among 60 to 70 entrants is stunning. It validates the quality of work that IdeaStar does in designing, developing, maintaining and promoting interactive insurance Web sites."

During the award presentation, the judges noted that http://www.communitycarerx.com was "cleanly conceived, cost effective, and very successful," with over 100,000 online enrollments.

The Web site targets senior citizens and their caregivers interested in the Medicare Part D program. Site visitors can sign-up, locate participating pharmacies, view various plan details relative to their home state, look up drug prices in their area, review policies and procedures, and more.

The site was developed and launched in six weeks, with final documentation released on or about August 15, 2005. The site went live October 1, 2005 with the open enrollment period commencing on November 15, 2005, which is a very short timeline.

MemberHealth is the nation's fourth largest Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Provider with over 1 million enrollments, about 10 percent of which were derived online.

Keyword-rich search engine optimization along with traditional advertising helps draw people to the site. Non-technical MemberHealth staff keep the Web site up-to-date with IdeaStar's Content Management System.

Entries in the Marketing Methods Competition were judged on marketing strategy, creative strategy, and results in 11 categories. A Gold Award was presented in a few categories, with the Best of PIMA Award going to only one entrant, which was IdeaStar.
