At any given time 40% of U.S business owners are dealing with issues about transferring the ownership of their firms, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration. The primary reason for failure is lack of planning. There are roughly 9.5 million privately held businesses in the U.S. today, and nearly 50% of the owners are age 50 or older. Yet very few have a written business plan, much less a plan for getting out of their business.
The webcast is one of a series of five upcoming webcasts co-sponsored by ENTERPRENEUR.COM and Exit & Retirement Strategies, Inc.
