EXTOL Named One of Greater Philadelphia's Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program

Attributes the demand for improved supply chain performance to its 49% revenue growth.

Pottsville, PA, (PRWEB) October 31, 2006 -- Extol International, a leading provider of B2B and integration software applications for both internal and external collaboration, has been named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 program for Greater Philadelphia, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2001-2005. EXTOL's increase in revenues of 49.2% from 2001 to 2005 resulted in a ranking of 41 in the Technology Fast 50 for Greater Philadelphia.

EXTOL's Chairman and CEO, Anthony Baran, credits the demand for improved supply chain performance with the company's 49.2% revenue growth from 2001-2005. "Companies today face demands from their customers and suppliers requiring them to reconfigure business processes, and adapt to new, dynamic business relationships that go well beyond the 'transmit and receive' nature of past B2B mandates," stated Mr. Baran.

"The new paradigm is for collaborative relationships," continues Baran, "requiring back office systems and processes to be agile enough to quickly respond to new opportunities and demands. And, to successfully mange these new, complex relationships, they must provide greater visibility of up to date information from many isolated systems, for pro-active - not reactive - decision making."

EXTOL's Business Integrator products deliver the capability for both internal and external collaboration across systems, and between enterprises. EXTOL solutions enable companies to implement the discipline and productivity needed for supply chain success and business growth."

The Greater Philadelphia Technology Fast 50 Program is presented by Deloitte and sponsored by The Judge Group and Geller & Company.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

Winners of the 16 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies.
