Best Web Sites announced in 10th Annual WebAward Competition covering 96 industries including the computer retail industry.

http://www.webaward.org - The Web Marketing Association is pleased to announce the Best Computer Retailer Web Site Winner as part of the 10th annual international WebAward Competition, the Internet's premier website award competition.

"Computer retailer sites are strongest in content, copywriting and interactivity while showing weakness in innovation," said William Rice, President of the Web Marketing Association. "The Computer retail category has been dominated by hpshopping.com, winning Best of Industry for five years running – a feat unequaled in WebAwards history. This year, a new computer retailer has stepped up the competition."

This year's best Web site in the computer retail industry is 2006 Dell Home/Home Office. http://www.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

Each website is judged on the same seven criteria including:

  •     Design
  •     Innovation
  •     Content
  •     Technology
  •     Interactivity
  •     Copy writing
  •     Ease of use

The overarching goal of the WebAward Competition is to provide a forum to recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing the most effective computer retailer Web sites on the Net today.
