Grissom Brings Home W.A.V.E. Award For Popular Cable Television Show
Shannon Grissom brings home WAVE Award for "Best Intructional Program By a Non Professional" for her television series, Give Your Walls Some Soul.
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) November 1, 2006 -- Since her show's inception, Hollister artist and television producer Shannon Grissom has been an annual W.A.V.E. (Western Alliance Video Excellence) award finalist for her television series, "Give Your Walls Some Soul." To date she's received 9 nominations. Tonight she took home the top WAVE award for Best Instructional Programming by a non-professional.
The 2006 winning episode was These Apricots Have Soul. Other nominated episodes were This Pear Has Soul and This Colorful Abstract Has Soul. All three episodes were nominated in the Instructional category and competed against shows throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico. The W.A.V.E. awards were established in 1998 to promote and recognize excellence in local community programming.
