2006 International Gospel Music Hall of Fame Inductee Bishop P.A. Brooks is Alive in Praise

Following his recent induction to the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Church of God in Christ General Board Member Bishop P.A. Brooks will launch his Praise and Worship CD, Alive in Praise 2, during the 99th International Church of God in Christ Holy Convocation in Memphis, Tennessee, November 6th-14th, 2006.

DETROIT, MI (PRWEB) November 1, 2006 -- Bishop P.A. Brooks, along with gospel music elite, Kurt Carr, Take 6, Dr. Iris Stevenson and others, was inducted in the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and Museum (IGMHFM), Saturday October 21st.

According to IGMHFM founder David Gough, "The Gospel Music Hall of Fame awards celebrates the contributions of influential individuals and groups, to the rich history of gospel music."

Bishop Brooks' induction comes on the eve of the release of his sophomore project; Alive in Praise 2. The highly anticipated CD, from his March of Faith recording label will be launched during this year's the 99th Annual Holy Convocation of the Church of God in Christ in Memphis Tennessee, November 6th-14th. The Praise and Worship LP features rousing renditions of "God is Able" and "But for Your Grace" picks up the musical momentum where Brooks' much loved 1st recording, Live in Praise left off!

Alive in Praise 2 will minister to the heart with longtime favorite songs and hymns! A product of March of Faith's rich legacy, the music and vocals of Alive in Praise 2 were orchestrated and arranged by producer Phillip Brooks III. Evangelist Faithe Brooks sets the tone of exalted worship with a special praise and prayer introduction, then Bishop P.A. Brooks takes us on a journey of praise, ALIVE with the Lord's anointing!

Founding pastor of New St. Paul Tabernacle in Detroit, MI, Bishop P.A. Brooks is a native of Chicago, Illinois and a fourth generation product of the Church of God in Christ. He is the founding pastor of New St. Paul Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, in Detroit, Michigan; Prelate of the Northeast Michigan Jurisdiction and member of the General Board (Presidium) of the Church of God in Christ

Bishop Brooks can be heard daily on Detroit's WMUZ 1340 AM station and seen Sunday mornings on WKBD-CW, broadcasting the March of Faith radio and television programs.
