Ms. Williams got an early start in her fact-finding abilities, when as a child, her mother brought home a set of encyclopedias. As a result of this new purchase, her mother refused to answer any thought provoking questions and always told her to "go look it up and find out for yourself." This opened the door to a lifestyle of countless trips to the library and the infamous encyclopedias seeing an early demise, as they quickly became tattered and torn from overuse.
Over the years, it became an everyday occurrence for her phone to ring whenever someone needed information, whether it was for health related issues, cosmetic surgery, world issues, or potential projects. She was the "go to" person that was sought out for all current facts and information.
Williams started doing research professionally in 1994 when she was hired as a Senior Research Specialist for The Oprah Winfrey Show. Williams supervisor took note of her passion for information and research and took her under her wing and showed her the true tricks of the trade that only serious connoisseurs and information hounds are familiar with. After a six year stint, Williams decided to leave The Oprah Winfrey Show and relocate from her hometown Chicago to Los Angeles, where she discovered her previously honed research skills proved an invaluable asset to the entertainment industry.
Since leaving Oprah, Williams has built a stellar reputation in the entertainment industry by producing and doing research for NBC, Fox, The Travel Channel, Discovery Health, HGTV, The History Channel, and many more.
