Rapidly growing jobs community uses innovative ideas to keep Canadian job seekers and recruiters connected coast to coast.

Art Branch Inc., the parent company of JobForum.ca, today announced a membership drive contest to further spur the new community's rapid growth.

JobsForum.ca is a free online community where members can search for either jobs or qualified employees. In addition to bringing employers and employees together, the forum provides members with information on Canadian Jobs Legislation and topics such as housing and education availabilities throughout Canada.

Since its relaunch in September, JobsForum.ca has seen a rapid increase in membership. Registered members now total over 1,000 recruiters and Canadian job seekers.

JobsForum.ca seeks to further sweeten the pot for its members with a contest designed to attract even more active job seekers and recruiters. The contest begins November 6, 2006 runs through December 6, 2006. It is open to all registered Canadian members with the exception of those presently located in Quebec.

Just like finding a job through the forum, JobForum.ca makes contest participation easy. Contestants rack up points for posting helpful and informative threads, contributing to discussions and referring new members to JobForum.ca. Accumulated points become ballots, giving each contestant chances to win the grand prize, the new 30GB iPod® Video. The grand prize drawing will be held on December 12, 2006.

As a spokesperson for Art Branch said, "The goal of Job Forum CA. is to take the frustration out of employment for both job hunters and recruiters. We believe the key to finding a job is communication and interaction between the businesses offering jobs and the job seekers.

"JobForum.ca provides members with a fast and efficient way to find employment or employees using the best innovations that technology has to offer. What better way is there to emphasize innovation and technological advantage than the iPod?"
