LotInfo LLC Releases LotInfo Enterprise
Intranet-based LotInfo Enterprise enables multiple users from a large organization to interact with LotInfo’s mapped property Information for New York City.
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 1, 2006 -- The newly released LotInfo Enterprise (www.LotInfo.com) is an Intranet-based, one-stop source of mapped data on New York City properties and neighborhoods. The program enables users in the field and in multiple office locations to access lot level maps of New York City, obtain information on city properties and neighborhoods, and interact with the program over the Web. Any user with Web access and a password can move around the map, click on properties to obtain information, find properties that meet user conditions, and delineate areas on the map screen to retrieve area-wide statistics. (e.g. How many housing units are there within this area?) Users can also input notes and data based on field observations, to be shared by the entire enterprise.
According to Tri Vo, Co-founder LotInfo, LLC, LotInfo’s city-wide information includes color coded land use mapping; subway lines and stations with weekday and weekend ridership stats; NYC administrative and election district boundaries; and US Census boundaries. Add-on modules provide monthly tracking of property sales and building permits. In addition, LotInfo has programmed links to public and commercial Web sites that maintain other data and photography for individual properties. LotInfo Enterprise users can click on a lot, select a Web site, and pull up the site’s data for the property selected.

Users can ask questions, set conditions, and access needed information with a click of the mouse. Those functions normally require GIS (Geographic Information Systems) expertise and software,” says John Ziegler, President, LotInfo, LLC.
