KDJ Advertising Chosen To Market New Mortgage Platform For Opportunity Finance Network

KDJ to Develop Comprehensive Marketing Program for Mortgage Product Designed to Protect Low-Income Borrowers from Predatory Lenders

Medford, NY (PRWEB) November 4, 2006 -- KDJ Advertising, LLC, a full-service agency with offices on Long Island and in Manhattan, has been retained to develop a comprehensive advertising/marketing program for Opportunity Mortgage Platform, a new mortgage product offered through the Opportunity Finance Network (OFN). OFN is the nation's leading network of private financial intermediaries that identify and invest in opportunities to benefit low-income, low-wealth people across the U.S. The new mortgage platform represents a fair, responsible alternative to the onerous loans offered by the predatory lenders that typically target low-income, low-wealth borrowers.

KDJ's marketing program will include print and radio advertising, direct mail, collateral and point-of-purchase displays. KDJ will also provide media planning and placement in the 7-10 pilot markets in which the new platform will be introduced, and nationally once the platform is rolled out nationwide.

OFN has a distinguished record of helping people living on the economic margins of society obtain the fair financing they need to improve their financial situations
"OFN has a distinguished record of helping people living on the economic margins of society obtain the fair financing they need to improve their financial situations," said Tom Score, President of KDJ Advertising. "KDJ has a proven ability to introduce new financial products with great success, and we look forward to utilizing our expertise on behalf of OFN to provide real economic benefits to deserving people in markets throughout the country."

Headquartered in Philadelphia, OFN is a network of 167 financial institutions in all 50 states and Native American communities. OFN members are community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and other opportunity finance institutions that work just outside the margins of conventional finance to bring those markets into the economic mainstream and help the economic mainstream flow into those markets. Through 2005, OFN originated more than $11 billion in financing in non-conforming urban, rural and reservation-based markets. To learn more, visit www.opportunityfinance.net.
