EXTOL Business Integration Conference returns to New Orleans.
POTTSVILLE, Pennsylvania (PRWEB) November 4, 2006 -- The October 2005 EXTOL Users Conference was to be held in New Orleans. Following the Katrina disaster, EXTOL postponed their conference of business to business technology executives, but was the first organization to commit to returning a business meeting to New Orleans. The rescheduled event will take place November 7 – 10, 2006.
The conference is an educational summit for the company's customers who use EXTOL software solutions to meet supply chain mandates such as EDI, data synchronization, vendor managed inventory, XML and others. In addition, EXTOL's business integration platform enables a company to remove the collaboration barriers between their disparate internal systems and software applications, as well as those of their customers, partners and suppliers.
Over 125 B2B and integration professionals will meet at the Royal Sonesta Hotel for the three day event. Highlighting the technical education program will be presentations by EXTOL users who have achieved notable success in supply chain performance because they are able to quickly adapt to new business processes, and to accurately manage a wide range of forecasts, transactions and product deliveries.
Featured are A.D. Sutton, a manufacturer of baby items, who has been named a national category leader by Wal-Mart; Burris Logistics, a major food distributor who has rapidly merged the diverse operations of several companies while increasing the levels of service and support to their hundreds of customers; and Carvel, a well known retailer and manufacturer of ice cream products, who has expanded their B2B initiative from supporting a limited number of high volume retailers, to a broad based program covering suppliers, customers, and Carvel branded retail outlets.
The 2006 EXTOL Users Conference is the 9th annual event for the software company. EXTOL has recently been ranked in the Software 500 and the Deloitte and Touché Technology Fast 50. The company attributes its 49% growth to having a comprehensive business integration solution geared to the unique requirements of mid market companies. It is capable of addressing multiple B2B challenges, and the steady demands for superior supply chain performance by major channel masters, such as big box retailers, the Department of Defense and automotive manufacturers.
