Truckers Pet Cafe launched on November 1, 2006. The owners thought you'd like to know that they have created a site specifically for truck drivers all over the world who take their pets along with them as their co-pilots out there on the road.

(PRWEB) November 4, 2006 -- Truckers Pet Cafe launched into the internet on November 1, 2006. It is a site that will continue to be built as the webmaster receives stories, poems and pictures from the readers.

The idea behind this site came from an over the road truck driver from Arkansas. He is passionate about his pets. They are like his kids. He has two Border Collie dogs and his wife has a long haired dauchshund. "They are our family."

This gentleman and his wife were partners when they first started driving trucks, and they took their dogs with them. But, since he had to change companies he's no longer able to take their "kids" with them and it's no fun at all.

So he decided to start a website to let other truck drivers out there show off not only their trucks, but also their favorite co-pilots. They have tons of stories to share from their first year on the road as well.. For instance, one about the potty time. lol. They had this one dog that would go any time they stopped, and was so excited to get out of the truck she decided to pull the wife out with her.. and the wife hit a huge puddle face first. :-)
