Chicago, Illinois (PRWEB) November 6, 2006 -- Since doubling its warehouse space this year, Office Express has actively sought out new products to expand choices available to its customers. In addition to envelopes, Office Express is now offering seven Holiday cards from a new line of unique cards designed by Link Art Ink incorporated, along with a choice of four traditional cards from Williamhouse. Four envelope options are available to customers purchasing from the Link Art Ink collection, at no additional cost, and shipping remains free on all orders.
"Our goal is to give a venue to some of the fabulous starving artists Chicago has to offer. We want to link artists through ink; funny, hip cards that aren't insulting or low-brow, cards that are worth a second look," said Link Art Ink co-founder Cheryl Linkhart. In that vein, Linkhart has designed a little something extra on the back of each card. A thumbnail picture of the cover repeats along with a continuation of a joke or biography of the artist. Three of the seven new cards offered feature the work of Chicago artist P. Dunne. Dunne works mainly in ballpoint pen and general office supplies, rather than the expected, traditional 'art' supplies, which lend an edgy quality to his images.
This is the inaugural season of Link Art Ink, a card company designed to give consumers alternative choices to the uninspired cards offered in the grocery store. Despite the boutique styling and high quality of the Link Art Ink cards, prices remain extremely competitive. Orders can range from 1 or 1000 cards, with larger orders reflecting the greater savings. A single card cost of $2.29 includes shipping via First Class mail. Prices for cards drop to a bargain 99 cents each with an order of 50 cards.
"Office Express has been wanting to go in this direction for a long time," President Bill Raspe said. "I'm always looking for interesting new choices to add to the site. Holiday cards are just the beginning. More greeting cards are coming." Seven newly designed cards are available exclusively at envelopesexpress.com.
Four traditional card choices are available from the Williamhouse collection. All are blank inside to allow consumers to personalize their message using an inkjet, laser or commercial printer. Foil lined envelopes are provided with all of the Williamhouse cards.
