A Brisbane event for actors and entertainment industry professioanls. TVI Actors Studio from America is holding a special seminar this Sunday via satellite hook up with casting directors in the US and Australian casting directors on site to talk about the difference between the US and Australian market.

(PRWEB) November 4, 2006 -This SUNDAY 5th November at The Block at QUT Brisbane actors will get inside information on the casting process in Los Angeles and Australia.

Australian Actors will be connected to Hollywood via satellite. Los Angeles Casting directors Christy Dooley (The Bold and the Beautiful) and Nick Anderson (Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Big Love and My Name is Earl) will be answering Brisbane actors' questions live via satellite feed.

Australian Casting Director Ben Parkinson –- who works both in the US and Australian -- will be on site to explain the differences between the two markets.

This in-depth seminar will be hosted by industry insider and TVI Actors Studio founder Alan Nusbaum and co-hosted by Lee Donehue, founder and publisher of Australia's leading actors' resource web site "Quiet on the Set".

Alan believes that if an aspiring actor wants to succeed in the world of Film and Television they have to treat your acting career like a business. He has learned this from his years of experience as an agent and manager in the USA, where clients have included Courtney Cox, Sandra Bullock and Jerry Orback to name just a few.

If you want to work in TV, Film, Soaps, Commercials or in American Theatre, this seminar will give you the knowledge and skills needed to consider working in the US.
