Injured Worker Endorses John Garamendi in His Bid for Lt. Governor

Garamendi expresses interest in problems of the disabled and handicapped

Los Angeles (PRWEB) November 3, 2006 -- With only a few days remaining till Election Day, injured worker Larry Nign is urging working famillies to support John Garamendi in his bid for the Lt. Governor post.

"Mr. Garamndi has earnestly expressed an interest in the problems impacting working families who have had their workers' compensation safety net stripped away by Draconian work comp reform efforts," said Larry Nign, operator of the www.MyStateFundStory.com web-site.

"Our present Governor pretends to care about working families, at least for the last three months preceding this campaign," Nign said. "Working families need an advocate who can keep the Governor in check as he runs rough shod over the workers' compensation system. John Garamendi is that man we can rely on," cited Nign.

Nign points to the recent problems of injured workers that have spotlighted the problems with the broken workers' compensation system, the hallmark of the present Governor's political resume'.

"Take a look at the systemic injustices. You don't have to go very far. Political appointees, like Carrie Nevans of the Division of Workers' Compensation, have allowed the out of control system to have little or no governance and control," Nign said, pointing to the recent case of Barb Clark, R.N. and the www.barbclark.org web site that illustrates his point.

"Don't be fooled. Working families need to rely on John Garamendi as a voice for working families," Nign concluded.
