Pacific Continental Skylight Property Fund Reports Sustained Growth

Pacific Continental Fund Management, the specialist fund manager, has reported returns of 17.43% in the last twelve months from the Skylight Capital Build-Up Fund. This growth by far exceeds the fund manager's target of 10%.

(PRWEB) November 4, 2006 -- Pacific Continental Fund Management, the specialist fund manager, has reported returns of 17.43% in the last twelve months from the Skylight Capital Build-Up Fund. This growth by far exceeds the fund manager's target of 10%.

The Skylight Capital Build-Up Fund uses a range of strategies that enable it to maximise returns available from residential property both at the point of purchase and throughout the life of the holding. This also means that it has minimal reliance on the direction of the underlying housing market.

The attraction of the Skylight Capital Build-Up Fund is its stable long term pricing and consistent yields, in comparison to more liquid markets such as those trading in bonds or equities. What's more is that the fund still offers a route into the housing market for those who would normally be priced out.
Peter Phelan, Fund Manager, Pacific Continental Fund Management, says: "The current economic climate provides the Skylight fund with a greater number of opportunities. The forecasts for continued growth of between 3% -5% - due to higher interest rates and increases in utility bills - is highly sustainable. Signs that property inflation may be slowing in the north is also good news for the fund as it indicates a reduction in price volatility in the first-time buyer sector.

Skylight Capital Build-Up Fund invests in residential property in the north of England, the fund strategy focuses primarily on the buy-to-let market in the first time buyer sector of the market. Since it's inception in March 2004, the fund has achieved a return of 18.69% year to date and 57.13% since inception.
