The New Curiosity Shop, a college of online learning, launches a new online course which explores life in the trenches for the ordinary British infantryman during the First World War (1914-1918).
Edinburgh, Scotland (PRWEB) November 8, 2006 -- The New Curiosity Shop launches a new online course about life in the trenches for the ordinary British infantryman during the First World War (1914-1918).
This course looks at the history of the First World War through the eyes of the ordinary British fighting soldier, and the student will learn about trench routine during a typical day on the front line. It will explore food, rest and relaxation, morale and a range of other themes that will help you understand what life was like for an ordinary British infantryman in the trenches.
The course features a wealth of resources including audio interviews with former soldiers talking of their experience.
