Octora RSS Feed Search Engine to sell on eBay
Octora RSS Feed Search Engine to sell for guess what; 1 cent.
(PRWEB) November 9, 2006 -- The Octora RSS feed search engine is up for sale for, guess what, 1 cent on eBay.
The engine was created from scratch a couple of months ago by a lone programmer in Barbados. It has been a couple months since he's been running the engine but now he's wishes to move on to what he calls 'another breakthrough programming project'.
The thing about Octora is that its quite different to the majority of current RSS search engines out there. Most of the popular RSS engines like Technorati.com, Feedster.com search for the most recent articles in blogs and feeds on the internet, whereas Octora looks for actual feeds instead that can be added to feed readers.
It is suprising that the engine is being sold at this point with the emergence of Windows Vista in early 2007. Internet Explorer 7 that is built into Windows Vista supports direct implementation of RSS feeds in the browser and a feed search for users will be desired. Microsoft has already started their prototype of RSS feed search but it still contains a relative amount of spam and more work has to be done.
RSS has taken the world by storm over the past two years and with every day that passes, more persons find out about its uses. It's safe to say that RSS is being used by at least 50% of serious websites on the Internet and can be seen on the majority of news websites. RSS reader applications emerge every month to make the experience of reading RSS feeds as comfortable as possible.
Octora, the RSS feed search engine; produces great feed results and shows what can be done with a little hard work and determination by the small guy.
