UVEF Appoints Millington to Board

The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum (UVEF) today announced the appointment of J. Kent Millington, D.B.A., as a 2006-2007 UVEF board member.

OREM, UT (PRWEB) November 8, 2006 -- The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum (UVEF) today announced the appointment of J. Kent Millington, D.B.A., as a 2006-2007 UVEF board member. Dr. Millington was involved in developing one of the world's largest Internet service providers, Verio, which sold for $5.5 billion in 2000.

Millington was appointed to the Utah Transportation Commission in 2005 and is currently the entrepreneur-in-residence at Utah Valley State College. Dr. Millington has taught at two other universities and received outstanding teacher honors. Millington continues to work with start-up ventures as he serves on various boards and in a number of capacities throughout Utah. Dr. Millington earned a BA degree from the University of Utah, an MBA from Brigham Young University and a Doctorate of Business Administration from California Coast University.

The UVEF is a non-profit support group working to share knowledge and experience.
