Phyllis Pometta, founder of BabySwags.com had decided at the start of this business she would not only provide celebrities with these wonderful and unique gift baskets, but she would also provide them to well deserving military moms to be and charity organizations. To kick start this campaign, Pometta has announced the first sweepstakes called, "Operation: Military-Mom-To-Be".

BabySwags.com will also include some favorite mom products for 2006! This basket will be delivered to show support of our military mom to be who's spouse has been deployed. BabySwags.com is asking that you help spread the word as we often "forget" about our Military Moms, and especially those that are left to go through a pregnancy alone because their husbands are deployed...serving our country.
"I can only imagine how difficult it would be to deal with my pregnancy without the "physical" support of my husband, considering I could not handle my pregnancy with my husband right next to me." Says Pometta. "My sole purpose of doing this gift basket was to let our military moms out there know that there are people thinking of them and would like to honor them, as well as their spouses." Family and friends can enter their favorite Military Mom To Be into the BabySwags.com sweepstakes by sending in an essay describing your nominated mom to be and why you feel she is the best recipient of this great gift basket. It is asked that a photo of the mom to be accompanies the submitted essay. The sweepstakes will run from November 8th, 2006 to December 8th, 2006. There will be one grand prize winner to receive one gift basket that will be sent out December 15th, 2006, just in time for Christmas. There is only one entry per person and all essay's must be a min. of 100 words. Pometta states that stories entered will be shared in a special section on BabySwags.com.
