The Popular TV and Touring Children's Property starts 38-day Asian Tour with stops in Pearl Harbor, Alaska, Korea and Okinawa. This is the Raggs Kids Club Band's 3rd Armed Forces Entertainment Tour performing for US Military Families. The helps promote the Raggs TV Series airing internationally.

(PRWEB) November 9, 2006 -- The Raggs Kids Club Band, a popular touring troupe of five canine characters, is leaving this week for its third trip overseas to play for US military families as part of Armed Forces Entertainment's international program. The band, their pet cat Dumpster, a host named Roadie, and two managers will play a 38-day concert tour starting November 13 and returning to the US on December 20. Stops are scheduled at bases in Hawaii, Alaska, Okinawa, South Korea and Japan including Military Family Appreciation Day at Pearl Harbor on November 17th, The Courtney Christmas Festival in Okinawa on December 1 and 2nd and Winter Wonderland in Atsugi, Japan on December 16th.

This is Raggs second trip to the Far East in a year. With over 2,000 live performances to their credit, the busy band has also played major fairs and festivals in the US, toured six countries in Europe this spring and made appearances in Australia where their new hit TV show is airing daily on Seven Network.

"When we left Japan last year, we knew we had made many new friends," Jason Priest, Raggs Tour Manager explained, "so we're especially pleased to be taking our holiday show back to some of the same bases plus several new ones."

The Raggs "Holiday Jam" show is a 45-minute mixture of classic holiday songs including "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town," "Jingle Bells" and a funny, sing-a-long rendition of "The 12 Days of Christmas." The show also includes the band's original song "Yo Yo Hey" and their version of "Who Let The Dogs Out," which has been a top listing on Kids Itunes. The music is punctuated by a running skit about a surprise gift for one of the characters and Dumpsters' wisecracking jokes.

The Raggs Kids Club Band started touring in 2001 and stars Raggs, Trilby, Pido, B. Max and Razzles. The Band has produced three DVDs, which have also aired in the US as TV specials and four popular CDs, which are available on CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon.com. Awards include The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval, iParenting Media Awards, The Creative Child Award, and, in 2005, Raggs was nominated for two regional Emmy Awards for the "Pawsuuup" TV special.

In 2005, Raggs signed an international co-production and distribution contract with Southern Star International Ltd. in Sydney, Australia, to produce a 65-episode TV series titled "Raggs." The live action/animated "Raggs" TV show began airing on January 2, 2006 on Australia's Seven Network to high ratings. Seven has reordered the show for 2007 and Raggs is currently in production in Sydney on Series II, a second set of 65 episodes. The show will soon air in Ireland and Singapore with several other countries pending. Raggs plans to announce the launch of the US show by early 2007.
