Record Advance Attendance Numbers Continue for the Savannah Music Festival
Audiences Respond to the Programming and Eclectic Style of the 2007 Savannah Music Festival by Making the Decision to Attend the Festival Earlier Than Ever Before
Savannah (PRWEB) November 9, 2006 -- The Savannah Music Festival has achieved record advance ticket sales, education enrollment and support since it announced its 2007 season on October 5, 2006. It has sold 7,720 tickets; enrolled 20,422 children in the education program; signed all major corporate sponsors from last year with many increasing the amount of their sponsorship; and included eight new corporate sponsors.
"Almost 30,000 people have already committed to attending the 2007 Savannah Music Festival. This includes the largest enrollment to date for our education events as well as our strongest advance ticket sales ever. Many events are well on their way to selling out," reports Rob Gibson, Executive and Artistic Director.
Ticket sales represent $264,271 in revenue, while education enrollment is up 20 percent over last year's final numbers.
Ticket prices range from $15 to $85, with many events free of charge. The Festival recommends ticket purchases now for the headliner events, especially for holiday gift-giving.
