NC Congressman Wins Election While His Website Wins Honor
District 12 Congressman, Mel Watt and Eastonsweb Multimedia launched a campaign website that was selected for inclusion into the Library of Congress Historical Collections.
(PRWEB) November 11, 2006 -- After winning the 12th district congressional race on Tuesday November 7th, Congressman Mel Watt and his campaign team received word that their website has been selected for inclusion into the Library of Congress historical collections related to Internet materials (http://www.wattforcongress.com). The Library acquires, catalogs, preserves and collects materials of historical importance to the Congress and to the American people.
The website was designed by Charlotte based video production and web development firm, Eastonsweb Multimedia (http://www.eastonsweb.com) to present Congressman Watt's platform and provide background information to facilitate informed voting decisions.
The Library will make this collection available to researchers onsite at Library facilities. The Library will also make the collection available to offsite researchers by hosting the collection on the Library's public access Web site.
