Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) November 11, 2006 -- Digital Healthcare, Inc. and Health Care Intranet Technologies (HCIT) today announced a technical and marketing partnership to provide interoperability between their respective solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement Digital Healthcare, Inc. will provide its iP® image acquisition, analysis, secure networking and mass storage system and HCIT will integrate the technology as optional modules in their Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management systems. Existing clients of both companies will benefit from the agreement should they wish to integrate imaging and medical records.

Digital Healthcares' iP® system is a Microsoft® .NET based service oriented workflow management system that provides connectivity to a wide range of ophthalmology equipment. Information from these devices is managed over a secure network architecture giving physicians instant access to the patients' entire image history. The iP® system presents information using smart clients or via a web interface that gives access from any internet location. The companies will be showing the products at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting in Las Vegas next week.
