Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) November 14, 2006

Wi-Ex, Inc. (http://www.wi-ex.com), a leader in developing products that enhance cell phone signal coverage, today announced Yx Wireless as its newest authorized, international distribution partner.

Yx Wireless will sell Wi-Ex's zBoostTM family of products to Yx Wireless's large network of dealers, value-added resellers (VARS) and systems integrators. Yx Wireless, a leading distributor of wireless technologies, exports equipment to most South American and Central American countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Argentina.

"With Yx Wireless's large wireless network and customer base, they are an ideal distribution partner for the zBoost product line," says Lloyd R. Meese, President and CEO of Wi-Ex. "zBoost is an affordable way to increase the indoor cell phone signal coverage that affects a large percentage of subscribers in their customer base."

Environmental obstructions, building materials, metal roofs and network interference are responsible for some of the indoor signal loss. For many customers, the benefits of increasing coverage can be directly translated into increased productivity and savings. Other benefits include extending the battery life, replacing landlines phones, reducing or eliminating dropped calls and increasing wireless applications such as instant messaging, 3G high-speed data picture mail and more.

"Yx Wireless has managed to grow and sustain its customer base because we strive to provide our clients with innovative and reliable products, attending their specific requirements with quick and comprehensive support. We chose to include zBoost into our selective portfolio because it offers an affordable way to increase indoor coverage, enhancing our clients' user experience," says Mike Leatherbee, CEO of Yx Wireless. "We feel very strongly about the benefits that the zBoost product line provides to our customers and are excited to be one of their first international distributors."

"With a worldwide subscriber base of 2 billion and a large percentage of indoor coverage problems, international distribution is a must. We will continue to expand into the international markets with our current zBoost product line," adds Meese. "We see the year 2007 as a big year for international sales for current and future WI-Ex products."
