Everest Poker Player Places 7th at the Spanish Poker Championship at the Casino de Tarragona
Round four of the Spanish Poker Championship was played this past weekend October 27-29.
Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) November 11, 2006 -- Michael Gloning, an Everest Poker player from Germany, came 7th at the Spanish Poker Championship last weekend in Tarragona after qualifying on www.everestpoker.com. Five other Everest Poker players qualified through online satellites and were seated amongst famous poker players such as Oscar Pelayo, Isaac Mayolas, Santi Torres and Francisco López ¨Pakito¨.
Friday 27th of October: Group A
Buy-In: 300 € + 30 €
Gilles Gauyacq from France, Pepijn Tolsma from Holland and Ismael Arribas from Spain represented Everest Poker on day 1 in Tarragona. 55 people played and 9 people qualified for the final group. Ismael Arribas didn't qualify for the final group but made a grand 12th place.
Saturday 28th of October: Group B
Buy-In: 300 € + 30 €
Michael Gloning from Germany and Gregory Vivant represented Everest Poker on day 2 in Tarragona. 48 people played and 9, including Everest Poker player Michael Gloning qualified for the final group!
On Sunday the 29th of October Michael Gloning had pocket Jacks, spades and clubs. Fernando Martin Showed his pocket Aces: hearts and clubs. Michael, still optimistic, waited for the flop: 9,7,3 all spades. Now with anticipation he waited for the turn: 5 of diamonds then came the river: Queen of clubs and Michael has a flush! One of many exciting hands of poker for the German Everest Poker player who made the final table at the Spanish Poker Championship and finished in 7th place
