Articulate Announces Guru Awards Contest
Articulate, innovator of award winning rapid e-learning authoring tools, announces a contest to award the best examples of e-learning courses and presentations created with Articulate's authoring tools.
New York City, NY (PRWEB) November 10, 2006 -- Articulate, the leader in rapid e-learning authoring tools, announced today its first-ever Articulate Guru Awards Contest. Users of Articulate's products will have the opportunity to compete for cash and other prizes by submitting their best work between now and the March 15, 2007 contest deadline. The winners and other exemplary entries will be shared with Articulate users as best practices examples on the company's website.
"Thousands of customers around the world are creating compelling e-learning courses and presentations using our authoring tools," said Gabe Anderson, director of customer support for Articulate. "We already have some great examples posted to our community forums, but now all members of our talented user community will have a chance to formally showcase their best work -- and the opportunity to win prizes and recognition."
Articulate users can submit content using any combination of Articulate authoring tools: Articulate Presenter, Articulate Quizmaker and/or Articulate Engage. There's no limit on the number of entries, which can be existing content or created specifically for the competition.
Entries will be judged based on:
| | - Effectiveness of course content to transfer knowledge
- Use of compelling media (graphics, audio, video, etc.)
- Wide use of authoring tool features
- Effective combination of Presenter, Quizmaker and Engage

Winners will be announced March 28, 2007. Prizes include:

- 2nd Prize: $500
- 3rd Prize: $250

All prize winners will also receive two free licenses of Articulate Rapid E-Learning Studio Pro (a $3,800 value) to be donated to the school or charity of their choice. Finally, winners will be featured on the Articulate website.
