Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) November 12, 2006 -- Full Sail Real World Education congratulates graduate Mark Crownover for his recent success in his position as director for the Ultimate Poker Challenge. Crownover graduated from the Film Degree program at Full Sail in 2004. He has also worked with Fox Sports Mansion Poker Challenge, American Idol and The View.

The Ultimate Poker Challenge is a nationally televised tournament of 52 weeks of "No Limit Hold Em" filmed at Binion's Casino in Las Vegas. These weekly poker tournaments act as super-satellites into the series semi-finals of this nationally syndicated program.

"The education that I received at Full Sail gave me the knowledge to direct The Ultimate Poker Challenge," said Crownover. "The producers, owners and crew could not believe that this was my first time directing poker. I hope that all graduates take the time to say thank you for what they have learned there. I wouldn't be where I am today without Full Sail."

Full Sail's Program Director of Film, Dave Franko, said, "It is wonderful to see a Full Sail graduate have such enthusiasm when it comes to their work. We strive to help students take their passion to the next level and Mark is a perfect example of how that can happen."

Since 1979, Full Sail Real World Education, a college outside of Orlando, FL, has been an innovative educational leader for those pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. With over 23,000 alumni, graduate credits include work on Oscar and Grammy-winning projects, best-selling video games and the number one grossing U.S. concert tour five out of the last five years. Full Sail's 91-acre campus proudly welcomes over 5,000 students from all 50 states and 37 countries worldwide. Currently, Full Sail offers degrees in the following disciplines: Computer Animation, Digital Arts & Design, Entertainment Business, Film, Game Development, Recording Arts and Show Production & Touring.

Students experience a "real world" education, with a professional class structure of 8-12 hours per day and a 24-hour round the clock schedule, which earned Full Sail the "Most Innovative Program" Award by the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges.
