Award-Winning Poet Testifies to Divine Presence of God
I Push the Pen is Poetry Hall of Fame member Donald L. Claflin's sublime collection of poems that celebrate the mystery and love of God.
Beaver Dams, NY (PRWEB) November 12, 2006 -- In Donald L. Claflin's I Push the Pen, poetry becomes a way of worship. Fueled by God's grace, Claflin writes about the joys, sorrows and dreams all people share.
Peace, love and comfort permeate every stanza of the poems in Donald L. Claflin's extraordinarily moving collection, I Push the Pen. God, Claflin, says, speaks through his pen, teaching about love, marriage, war and aging. These poems celebrate the rich tapestry of life from birth to death, but more importantly, these verses all give praise to the divine spirit and act as a reminder that God is always present and hope is never lost.
Claflin was elected into the International Poetry Hall of Fame and is a member of the International Society of Poets. Many of his poems were used as devotionals on AM 1000 radio on the Light House Ministry program. Intimate and inspirational, I Push the Pen will be a treasured volume in any home--and in any heart.
"Each of his poems seems intended as an individual act of devotion, designed for the purposes of divine praise and celebration. They speak of awe and wonder and love, and they speak with the power of genuine feeling--no small thing in today's world."
