With a worldwide install base of some 6 million systems, NetSupport Manager now in its 16th year of evolution has consistently been recognized as one of the leading PC remote control solutions. Version 10 extends the envelope allowing for unified management and monitoring of systems across a range of platforms including, Windows 9x, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, Mac, Linux, CE, Windows Mobile, Pocket PC and Solaris all within a single view.

Sales & Marketing Director, Marcus Kingsley comments "the exponential growth of today's networks creates an ongoing challenge for IT administrators to retain control. Unlike traditional remote support solutions which concentrate on 1:1 interaction, NetSupport Manager has continued to evolve recognizing the need for effective connectivity and functionality to simultaneously support a diverse range of platforms and user environments. Reinforcing this theme, File transfers can be done from one PC to an entire department, again in a single action and to cater for training, NetSupport also allows an Operator to show their screen or a selected application in real-time to any number of selected computers to deliver a powerful training solution."

For Helpdesk staff, version 10 features a powerful Hardware and Software inventory tool, the ability to both monitor and interact with a Remote computer's services, processes and active applications, as well as providing a range of supporting tools including audio chat, a remote registry editor and remote command prompt.

With the diversity of corporate enterprises, connectivity is key, so Manager 10 allows for connections over a traditional LAN/WAN utilizing IPX, NetBIOS or TCP/IP and also provides as standard an Internet Gateway allowing secure communications between remote sites that are each protected by firewalls. To complete the connectivity offering, the latest version provides remote support for mobile devices including Windows CE and Pocket PC including communication over GPRS and 3G, so no matter where a user is located they always remain only a click away from assistance.

Recently awarded "Labs Winner" in a comparative test by PC PRO Magazine, "MVP" by Redmond Magazine, "Recommended" by CRN and SC Magazines and a "Gold" award from PC Advisor, the latest version now offers even greater functionality at the same competitive price.
