By scanning the retail barcode with the included portable USB or Bluetooth wireless barcode scanner, users can automatically identify detailed product information using an Internet-enabled AutoFill wine database.
After scanning, collectors use the companion wine management software to track bottle locations, calculate wine maturity, view bottles on the color-coded Virtual Cellar grid, and add custom ratings. When the bottle is consumed, simply scan it again to mark it and add tasting notes.
