Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) announced schedule of Member Conferences for 2007. Member Conferences are educational forums attended by aerospace and defense primes, tier-ones and suppliers.

Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) announced its 2007 schedule of Member Conferences.

SEA Member Conferences are educational forums that focus on the critical challenges facing small and mid-sized aerospace and defense suppliers. Member conferences are hosted by SEA member companies and typically include:

  • Site visit focusing on a state-of-the-art manufacturing process

  • Panel discussions on learning gained from the site visit focusing on both implications and opportunities for suppliers

  • Critical supply chain challenges and issues assessed and discussed by industry leaders

  • Presentations by supplier companies on their results gained from implementation of the SEA Lean Enterprise System - the uniform business system now being deployed across the industry

The 2007 Member Conference schedule includes:

  • February 1 - hosted by Parker Aerospace in Irvine, CA

  • April 5 - hosted by Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, IA

  • June 14 - hosted by Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita, KS

  • September 20 - hosted by Lockheed Martin Corporation in Bethesda, MD

  • November 7 - hosted by The Boeing Company in Huntington Beach, CA (also includes a golf tournament and awards dinner on November 6)

SEA is the joint program office for the aerospace, defense, and space industry supply chain conversion. As a non-profit alliance of leading industry contractors, SEA's purpose is to accelerate supply chain performance and help U. S. suppliers become more competitive.
