FrogPad, Inc., the leading innovator in productive mobile data entry technologies, has announced that its partnership with Giletech of Munich, Germany, has resulted in an on-screen Better Typing product that will help users learn touch-typing on the standard-setting FrogPad™ (http://www.frogpad.com) mobile computing accessory in as little as five hours.

"This is how you achieve real mobile productivity - chopping the learning curve for touch-typing one-handed on our product," says Linda Marroquin, President and CEO of FrogPad. "We're grateful to Giletech for continuing the rapid development of applications and aids for our keyboard. You could say the FrogPad's really jumping right now!"

The on-screen Better Typing Software keyboard replication lets users look at the screen instead of the keyboard, because the keyboard is reproduced on whatever standard input program - a Word document, for example, or an Excel spreadsheet - is being used.

"Better Typing Software combined with FrogPad dramatically cuts the touch-typing learning curve," says Marroquin. The result is maximum improvement of eye-hand coordination and muscle memory. User can even download the Giletech e-tutor (a Windows application) as a 'Try Before You Buy' FrogPad demo.

Germany-based Giletech e.K. (http://www.better-typing.com/frogpad.htm) produces typing products that have been lauded by ZDNET (http://www.zdnet.de/downloads/prg/d/u/de0DDU-wc.html) in Germany and ComputerActive (i http://www.computeractive.co.uk/computeractive/downloads/2161105/better-typing) in the UK. The company has a special relationship with US-based FrogPad. "The sophisticated on-screen keyboard really is the better way of doing your daily typing with FrogPad," says Aleksandar Gilezan of Giletech. "Its power as a tutor for mobile data entry is outstanding."

The one-handed FrogPad keyboard has been capturing the attention of the growing corporate technology market since 2003, with the introduction of both USB and Bluetooth one-handed models. With the advent of Microsoft Origami and Windows Mobile 5, FrogPad is the first truly mobile solution for full-text data entry. More than 10,000 units are being used around the world.

Now the on-screen Giletech typing applet makes FrogPad even easier to learn than ever.
