We had been in the market for a larger facility since early 2006. Midway through the year, we got nervous that we would not be able to get the move accomplished before the hectic Christmas Season. We needed enough space for more sophisticated warehouse logic. It is a great relief to know that we are ready to face the demands of the Holiday Season.

For 16 years, Scuba.com has been serving its customers from its home base in Orange County, California. 10 years ago, Scuba.com launched its website, which has grown consistent with the US Department of Commerce ecommerce growth rates of 20% plus per year.

In anticipation of a busy Christmas Season, Scuba.com moved its warehouse and showroom to a larger facility in Irvine, California. Freshly remodeled, the 20,000 square foot location has 3 times the capacity, allowing for a greatly expanded inventory. The retail showroom is open seven days a week. The showroom features rentals, a full equipment service center and a state-of-the-art compressor system for air fills. The new location is two minutes north of the John Wayne Airport for the convenience of traveling divers.

Quotes General Manager and Scuba Instructor, Melinda Herndon.

The new warehouse space is set up for receiving orders from over 120 manufacturers and houses over seven thousand items. The shipping department works 7 days a week to keep up with order demand and Federal Express picks up orders 3 times a day to ensure timely delivery to customers.

This convenience is just part of the service and information concept where the entire sales staff consists exclusively of Scuba Diving Instructors, trained in the features of the newest equipment available in the marketplace. From waterproof snorkels to underwater communication systems, Scuba.com has these products in stock and ready to ship to customers who place orders over the Internet at their website: http://www.scuba.com or customers who choose to visit the store in person at 1752 Langley Ave. Irvine, CA 92614.
