Top Tennis Academy in Egypt Bringing in Dr. John F. Murray to Provide Sport Psychology Training Starting on December 15

Palm Beach, Florida-based sport performance psychologist Dr. John F. Murray will be conducting mental training programs at the Equelite Juan Carlos Ferrero Tennis Academy in Cairo, Egypt. The first three-day program will begin on December 15, with six visits anticipated in 2007.

Cairo, Egypt; Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 14, 2006 -- Tennis players at the Egyptian Pyramids have just gained a major advantage over their opponents, and a significant means of improving their games. Dr. John F. Murray, a Palm Beach, Florida sport performance psychologist, recently agreed with owners of the Equelite Juan Carlos Ferrero Tennis Academy in Cairo, Egypt to provide a three-day mental training program starting on December 15. Dr. Murray works with professional and junior athletes and produces sport psychology training programs worldwide. See www.JohnFMurray.com.

Khaled el Shawarby, General Director of the academy located at the Wadi Degla Sporting Club, stated, "we have succeeded by inviting Dr. Murray to work with our players to upgrade the psychological aspects of tennis in Egypt. We are excited about his visit in December and hope to finalize a long-term contract with six visits per year starting in 2007."

The original Equelite Juan Carlos Tennis Academy is located in Spain and is the regular training center for Maria Sharapova, Juan Carlos Ferraro, and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. Mental training for both coaches and players will be personally conducted by Dr. John F Murray. In addition to housing the tennis academy, Wadi Degla is home to the Arsenal Soccer School, el Borolossy Squash Academy, FITA International Archery Federation Training Center, and professional management programs for swimming, horseback riding, and other sports.

The Wadi Degla club is the newest sports project in Egypt. It is a completely private club and the owners are building a new branch with plans to have at least four branches to serve the different parts of Cairo and other cities in Egypt. The club is positioned on over 168,000 square meters and includes one of only 13 approved FIFA artificial soccer fields.

Dr. Murray is author of the best-selling tennis book "Smart Tennis: How to Play and Win the Mental Game" cover-endorsed by former world number one ranked Lindsay Davenport. See www.JohnFMurray.com. He has worked with over 60 players on the pro tour and is widely known for helping American tennis pro Vince Spadea recover from the deepest slump in tennis history to win his first championship and return to #18 in the world.
