Los Angeles, Calif. (PRWEB) November 15, 2006 -- The Los Angeles premiere of "Pray for Me, Jason Jessee" happens November 18, 2006 at the Fine Arts Theater.
After the success of the three standing room only screenings of the documentary "Pray for Me, Jason Jessee" in TriBeCa the film has made its way to the west coast for it's Los Angeles premiere. The film s a documentary stunt ride with legendary former skateboard pro, custom chopper builder, and full-time low-rider Jason Jessee.
The film features family, friends (many of whom are living legends in diverse fields) and associates weaving riveting narratives on a truly fascinating, self-invented man. Jason's halting language and dozens of interviews from those who know him best and worst unveil themes of suicide, Jesus, success, failure, natural birthing, chicken make-up, aesthetics, excommunication, bankruptcy, and love. The diversity and status of the interviewees in the film is staggering, as is their contribution to modern California culture.
Expect to see the filmmakers along with Jason Jessee and a lot of the colorful people involved in this film to attend. Currently the film is securing distribution all over the world and is becoming a cult favorite in the skater, low-rider and tattoo'd worlds.
