Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce has found an innovative way to update employers on changes in UK legislation -- by launching a range of podcasts that summarise the latest changes. It is the first UK Chamber to offer audio downloads on legislation updates.
(PRWEB) November 15, 2006 -- Derbyshire Chamber of Commerce has found an innovative way to update employers on changes in UK legislation -- by launching a range of podcasts that summarise the latest changes. It is the first UK Chamber to offer audio downloads on legislation updates.
The new podcasts, produced by Effective Podcasting Ltd, offer details of legislation updates that are applicable to all employers. They are divided into individual topics for ease of access. The topics are changes in fire safety legislation, statutory maternity, National Minimum Wage and removing age discrimination. There is also a combined audio that covers all four topics.
"Podcasting is a new marketing tool for us and one which we are keen to embrace in line with our innovative e-marketing," said Theresa McDermott, director of member services at the Chamber.
"We developed this podcast to test the market and envisage more podcasts being available for our customers in the future. We chose to work with Effective Podcasting Ltd as they provide an efficient service and the audio quality of their podcasts is superb."
UK legislation changes regularly, and employers are required to keep themselves updated on these changes to ensure that their employees are being treated fairly. Now anybody can visit Derbyshire Chamber's website and get these updates at the click of a button, without having to read through lengthy legislation documents.
