UK Drum & Bass Producers Nightbreed Battle Zombie-Ravers

UK Drum & Bass producers Nightbreed unveil their new comic strip "Tales of the Nightbreed."

Essex, UK (Billboard Publicity Wire/PRWEB ) November 20, 2006 -- UK Drum & Bass producers Nightbreed unveil their new comic strip "Tales of the Nightbreed" on their website www.nightbreeduk.com.

With their name inspired from the horror genre, Clive Barker in particular, Nightbreed not only brings their unique style to drum & bass but to their comic strip as well. Teaming up with UK artist Rhekluse (www.myspace.com/rheklusevsblach_i ), the first installation chronicles Nightbreed as they venture from their lair to the club at which they are to perform. Along the way, the diabolique duo, Angle & Malachai, encounter zombie-ravers, infernal demons, and a nefarious bouncer in order to make their gig and bring the sickness.

Nigthtbreed's underground style of fusing their love for metal music with drum & bass surpassed all expectations when in 2004 Nightbreed's heinously monstrous track entitled "Pack of Wolves" on Ram Records crossed borders getting play-listed on Radio 1 & XFM generating massive support from the likes of; Jo Whiley, Zane Lowe, James Hyman, Eddie 'Temple' Morris & Mary Anne Hobbs along with DJ support from some the drum & bass scenes finest; Andy C, Swift, Grooverider, Ed Rush & Optical, Scratch Perverts, Shimon, and Fresh. "Arachnophobia," the long-awaited follow-up to "Pack of Wolves," was released this past summer on Frequency Records.

Nightbreed has also remixed for a variety of different high profile artists: The Prodigy remixing "Spitfire" featuring Juliette Lewis, Roni Size's "Rise Up" featuring Sweetie Ire' & receiving a personal request from Lab 4 to re-work their Nine Inch Nails cover "Perfect Drug" -- was also recently released this summer. With many other remix projects in the works, Nightbreed is one production outfit that many have been keeping a close eye on; Knowledge magazine recently featured Nightbreed in its September issue.

Continuing a busy year of releases & remixes, Nightbreed's highly-anticipated remix of "Remember" (Gyromite + Subsonik) on Cymbolism Recordings will be hitting the record stores in the next few weeks. Nightbreed also hosts their own show online every second Wednesday of the month on www.planetdnb.com. Always on the prowl, Nightbreed will be playing at Cargo (London) as part of the XFM Remix Tour next month on December 15th.

Setting the stage for 2007, "Tales of the Nightbreed" is the first installment of the comic strip parodying the adventures of Malachai & Angle as they continue to make waves in the drum & bass scene with a style all of their own. "Tales of the Nightbreed" can be found online at Nightbreed's website www.nightbreeduk.com.
