Dazzling Alphabet Book Explores World of Wild Animals

Françoise Callier's inventive alphabet book ABC in the Wild teaches children their letters with beautiful Photoshopped images and fun animal facts.

Paris, France (PRWEB) November 17, 2006 -- Françoise Callier's revolutionary alphabet book, ABC in the Wild, is both a witty and fun educational tool and an extraordinary work of art, using kaleidoscopic montages to teach and entertain children.

Learning ABCs is a rite of passage for most children; author and artist Françoise Callier has now made it a thing of beauty. A longtime photographer's agent in France, and the author of two other artistic books, Callier has a painter's eye, a love for nature and a whimsical spirit.

In her book, each letter of the alphabet corresponds to a different wild animal, which cavorts on the page in an astonishing montage. Rabbits perch on a carrot background and penguins dance into a formation as precise as the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes. To help children learn more about the natural world, Callier has also included fascinating tidbits about each animal. The bite of a viper snake is fatal, she reveals, and the albatross is a romantic, keeping its partner for life.

Children will find that learning the alphabet is easy when it's this much fun. Gorgeous to look at and joyful to read, ABC in the Wild is a unique alphabet book that will stay in home libraries long after the letters are learned.
