Acoustic Rock Band Simple People to Headline Benefit Concert for Idaho Falls Youth

Acoustic rockers Simple People will headline a benefit concert for the youth of Idaho Falls. Proceeds from the concert will be used to help pay for a new 75,000 square foot skate park.

Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) November 18, 2006 -- Acoustic rock band Simple People will headline a benefit concert on November 20, 2006, at the Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium. Proceeds from the show will be used to help pay for a new 75,000 square foot skate park for youth in the Idaho Falls area.

The benefit concert was designed to encourage youth to participate with the local government in bringing about positive change in the community and to develop youth leadership skills. Student governments are actively promoting the concert, which will also feature two local winners of a recent Battle of the Bands competition as opening acts.

Simple People vocalist/guitarist Dan Cutler comments, "It's great to see the local government involving the youth in such a constructive way. We're thrilled to support this effort. Mayor Fuhriman and the city of Idaho Falls have been great to work with, and we're looking forward to a fun show for a great cause."

The show will be held at the Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium located at 501 S. Holmes Avenue in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Tickets are available for $10.
