InterAct Public Safety Systems Adds Industry Leaders To Sales Team
InterAct announces the hiring of public safety technology veterans for its western and south central regions. Edson and Helterbrand bring years of expertise to their new positions and foretell major growth in their respective regions.
Winston-Salem, N.C. (PRWeb) November 21, 2006 -- Robert Edson and Ronald Helterbrand, seasoned veterans of the public safety technology field, have joined InterAct Public Safety Systems', a leader in public safety technology used by local, state, national, and international agencies, sales team, bringing years of sales and telephony experience into their new positions. Edson will serve as regional vice president for the Western region, while Helterbrand will fill the role of account executive for the South Central region, covering New Mexico and Texas.
Edson's solid sales and management background includes work at companies like Dictaphone and Call Recording Solutions. He distinguished himself early in his career, selling software to law enforcement agencies and call centers, and later making his mark as a salesman in public safety technology. At PlantCML, where he served as regional manager, he capitalized on his abilities as a salesman and manager and greatly expanded the company's presence in Montana and Idaho. "Public safety is more than a career to me, it's a personal passion," said Edson. "I intend to bring that to InterAct and help expand our business in the West to its fullest potential."
Helterbrand brings 25 years of experience in sales and management as well as a time-tested knowledge of technical services in the public safety market. His most recent role was as regional manager for CML Emergency Services, where he opened new markets and breathed life into territories whose sales had been plunging for years. Like Edson, Helterbrand's career boasts solid experience in management and sales for communications recording systems and call center technology.
"Robert and Ron will be filling two critical roles in our Western and South Central regions," said Tom Hawkes, executive vice president and chief sales officer of InterAct. "The expertise they bring is as much about building relationships within the market as it is about knowledge of a product. InterAct looks forward to the growth their years of experience will bring to the company."
