WiisforFree.com Website Launches Offering Free Nintendo Wii

Launching the same day as Nintendo's Wii console, W7 Media is offering free Nintendo Wiis at WiisforFree.com. The service offers members a free Wii in exchange for trying a sponsor's free trial.

Vancouver, BC (PRWEB) November 19, 2006 - Today, just as Nintendo releases their coveted Wii gaming console, W7 Media is launching WiisforFree.com, their latest video game giveaway website. The owners of WiisforFree.com are expecting a positive response during the coming months, both during the launch phase and the holiday season. By partnering with advertisers, WiisforFree.com sends out free consoles when members try a sponsor's service.

The Operating Officer of W7 Media, Steen Hof believes that the launch of WiisforFree.com coinciding with the actual Wii product launch will bring an increased level of interest to their new website which will benefit both customers and advertisers. "Our giveaway sites are popular both with consumers and our site sponsors. Everyone benefits when we are able to give away quality products such as the Wii while our advertisers receive potential customers." The members are asked to complete a trial offer, such as Video Professor or GameFly. Hof continues "We have found in the past that our websites receive an increased amount of interest during product launches such as Wii."

Prior to the launch of WiisforFree.com, W7 Media has successfully managed several similar giveaway sites such as freePlaystations.com and yourfreeXBOX.com, giving away tens of thousands of dollars worth of goods. In each situation securing inventory has been a concern. "This time around, I am pleased to report that securing Wiis to send to our members will not be an issue at all" Hof added. Adding the Wii console will allow W7 Media to connect to a new type of customer. Nintendo's clientele has historically been a far more family oriented gamer, generally with less interest in violent media often found on Sony's Playstation consoles or Microsoft's XBOXs. "We are excited to be targeting customers from a different market. This will allow us to significantly grow our membership base." concludes W7 Media's COO.
