The original creator of the "online project management template", Method123 announced today that they have just released their latest suite of free tools for Project Managers.

(PRWEB) November 21, 2006 -- The original creator of the "online project management template", Method123 announced today that they have just released their latest suite of free tools for Project Managers. These free project management tools include risk management templates, an ebook and articles explaining how to better manage projects.

"Project Managers needs a wide range of resources to improve their success in delivering projects" says Jason Westland, founder of Method123. "By giving them the tools they need to do the job, they can deliver more projects on time and within budget."

The first free project management tool offered by Method123 is the Risk Management Kit. This kit includes a suite of project management templates which are used for managing and mitigating project risk. The kit includes a Risk Management Process, Risk Form and Risk Register. Westland says that more than 100,000 people have downloaded this free risk kit, which represents a sizeable portion of the online project management community.

In addition to the free risk kit, Method123 have also released online their Project Management Guidebook for free. "This guidebook explains every step in the project management life cycle" says Westland. "It takes you through the Method123 Project Management Methodology (MPMM) at a generic level, by explaining how to Initiate, Plan, Execute and Close projects efficiently. Every phase, activity and task is described in depth, helping you to complete each step in the life cycle faster than before. The MPMM project management life cycle is further explained on our sister site www.MPMM.com

The third free project management tool, just released today, is the provision of advice for project managers in the form of Project Management Articles. Each article describes a specific topic in project management, to give project managers tips and hints for improving their project management success. "Every week, we will upload a new article explaining the project management discipline in depth, giving project managers the knowledge that they need to improve their project delivery rates. Over the next year, a series of 52 articles will be uploaded, covering the entire project management life cycle. Each article covers a specific project management topic, such as how to plan a project, conduct a risk review or get the most from your supplier relationships. The articles will describe how to manage project time, cost, quality, change, risks and issues. They will also cover the topics of procurement, customer acceptance and project communications" says Westland.

By offering free project management templates, an ebook and free articles, Method123 hope to be able to attract new project managers to their website www.method123.com

Method123 has grown in size in the past 5 years since released. With more than 45,000 customers and 250,000 downloads, the project management templates offered by Method123 have become a valuable resource in the project management community.
