The XVD TX100 and RX100 enable real-time SD encoding and decoding. They support all resolutions up to full D1; analog NTSC and PAL input; TCP/IP and RTP/FEC. The system also provides Compact Mini-server capability and is a robust design with very high reliability.
At only 5"x3"x1" while weighing under 16 ounces, and requiring less than 5 watts of power, these XVD encoders and decoders make it possible to design and build ultra-compact video acquisition systems that will serve a wide variety of applications. These include television broadcast, distance learning, surveillance and security, remote medical consultation, video conferencing, digital signage, and virtually any other application in which it is beneficial to easily and economically achieve high-quality results over low-bandwidth networks.
