Singer Songwriter Richard Hingley to release Live DVD and CD
Richard Hingley a Singer Songwriter from the UK is to release his first commercial release a live DVD and CD entitled "Live from London" on 1st December 2006. Recorded earlier this year at the Archway music club in London, Hingley plays a set of original material taken from his forthcoming studio album entitled "and back to me..." due for release in early 2007.

Recorded earlier this year at the Archway music club in London, Hingley plays a set of original material taken from his forthcoming studio album entitled "and back to me..." due for release in early 2007.
"Initially I wasn't planning to use this gig as a live recording" Commented Hingley. "I had the gig videoed and recorded initially for personal reasons and for inclusion on my website. On reviewing the tapes I realized that it was just crying out to be edited up and look to get it released.
The tracks are an interesting blend of folk / rock and acoustic ballads with Hingley incorporating the use of a vocal harmony pedal to make for a truly unique sound.
"I am very pleased with the finished result and it gives a really good account of my live performances, with the addition of some extra studio material on the CD it really lets people hear what I'm about as an artist. Hingley added.
Edited and produced by Hingley himself, Live from London is released on DVD or CD. The DVD available in PAL or NTSC video formats is shot in high definition and the audio is mixed in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. DVD extras include an interview, and music video of the track The day the walls fell in. The Live from London CD has all the tracks from the DVD soundtrack plus 3 bonus studio tracks on it
Live from London is released through Key Music Records Ltd. with further distribution through CDbaby.

Richard Hingley has been involved with music writing and production for many years as his father Barrie Hingley was a very prominent musician, Richard started out engineering and producing records in the late 1980's and early 90's before spending a few years working as a consultant in media production.
