SpeechEasy, the leading provider of technologically advanced devices that help people who stutter to speak more fluently, took part in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention November 16-18, 2006 in Miami Beach, Florida.

Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 28, 2006 -- SpeechEasy, the leading provider of technologically advanced devices that help people who stutter to speak more fluently, took part in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Convention November 16-18, 2006 in Miami Beach, Florida. ASHA is the professional, scientific, and credentialing association for more than 123,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists in the U.S. and internationally. This year's theme was "Building Bridges Through Communication."

SpeechEasy provided the opportunity for industry professionals to see first hand the size and format of the SpeechEasy device. Speech Language Pathologists were also afforded the opportunity to listen to the device and view a series of before-and-after video testimonials. Amber Snyder, MS, CCC-SLP of Janus Development Group -- SpeechEasy's parent company, hosted a technical presentation with an in-depth discussion of how the SpeechEasy device functions and the related research. Vivian Topp, M.Ed., CCC-SLP, Miami SpeechEasy Dispenser, was also present and available to those seeking more information.

Three preliminary findings of independent efficacy research posters were presented during the convention. Dr. Lawrence Molt, Ph.D., CCC-SLP of Auburn University answered questions regarding his independent clinical trial underway with 35 SpeechEasy clients and their long term effects with SpeechEasy. The results of the presented efficacy data were very promising for the SpeechEasy fluency device.
