Urgent Care Centers, Inc. Has Signed an Agreement to Purchase a Family Medicine Practice in Virginia That Will Become Their 1st Urgent Care Center

Urgent Care Centers, Inc. is pleased to announce that an Agreement has been signed to purchase a well established Family Medicine Practice in southern Virginia.

Urgent Care Center's partner, The Cirrus Group will handle the real estate aspects of the deal and UCC, Inc. will take over the operations effective January 2, 2007.

The plans will be to expand with Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician's Assistants and turn the practice into a Walk-in Clinic with additional services not currently offered locally. The new hours will be from 7 am until 7 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am until 1 pm on Saturday. Primary Physician Care will continue to be available.

Services such as Occupational Medicine, Physical Therapy and other state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities will be added as the Center progresses.
