GCS-PR Restructures into Gable PR, Cook & Schmid to Pursue Differing Market Emphases

GCS-PR co-founders Rick Cook and Jon Schmid will form Cook & Schmid, offering public relations and expanded services, including marketing and advertising. Co-founder Tom Gable will form Gable PR, focusing on business-to-business, technology and pharmaceutical clients.
The restructuring leverages the individual strengths of the company's principals, while enabling them to focus more directly on their respective service areas and business interests.
Gable PR will focus on business to business, technology, biotechnology, medical device, health care and pharmaceutical clients, plus lodging and hospitality. Clients include ABD Insurance, Bull Moose Energy, CONNECT, Dussini Mediterranean Bistro, Lankford and Associates, Pfizer, Prize Capital, Renewable Agricultural Energy and SeQual Technologies. Cook & Schmid will focus on serving government contracts as well as providing strategic public relations, marketing and advertising to clients in a wide range of industries. Cook & Schmid is a minority-owned business.
Cook & Schmid clients include San Bernardino County, The San Diego Rescue Mission, Forward Ventures, M Ship Co., Bisnar and Chase, Hichborn Consulting Group, Imaging Health Services, Plymouth Health and Alvarado Hospital.
